Design Tanks in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a full-time Manufacturing Process Engineer who can ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency throughout the production process. This role pays a starting salary of $68,000 - $80,000/year (depending on experience and qualifications) and offers an 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday schedule.
Responsibilities- Lead engineering functions for molding process related to filament winding, spincast, and molding the tops and bottoms of heads
- Lead trial plans for new resins, liners, gelcoats, additives, glass rovings/mats, and release agents
- Clearly define SOPs and create standardized documentation detailing work instructions and audit standards
- Qualify materials and update specs for new products
- Tackle additional responsibilities as assigned
- Familiarity with the industry s general concepts, practices, and procedures
- Bonus qualifications: production environment experience, experience using Solid Works, familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ASTM, and ANSI)
