Position Summary
Production worker responsible for operating and maintaining line equipment, monitoring the process, and assisting the production line with preparation and packaging of products. Ensure all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and quality standards are met and maintain efficient product flow through the production process.
Position Responsibilities- Works on production line according to procedures, may switch positions every two hours and may be required to work other positions within the facility.
- Follow all safety procedures, participate in safety training, maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and personnel, and report any injury, accident, or unsafe condition immediately to supervisory staff.
- Maintain and follow GMP, Serv Safe, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and OLM Food Solutions standards in the work environment.
- Learn and become knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing practices, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Perform general labor tasks as required.
- Stack product on pallets.
- Operate the inserter.
- Start up and shut down operations for the line.
- Set up and change over metal detection and box taper equipment.
- Operate machines, both simple and complex.
- Utilize the box and bag maker.
- Accurately operate the cheese sealer.
- Operate pallet stacker, stacking 25‑pound cases onto a pallet.

- Education and/or experience: high‑school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination. Must be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); ability to read and comprehend documents, simple instructions, and product labels.
- Electric pallet jack and HACCP certification preferred.
- Basic math skills, able to calculate figures and amounts.
- Reasoning ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage abstract and concrete variables; strong analytical skills with ability to identify opportunities.

Physical Requirements- Lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and use hands to grip regularly.
- Frequent exposure to extreme cold (below 0 °F).
- Must possess close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined.
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends if necessary.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet be flexible and capable in a team environment.
Must adhere to all safety rules, policies, and regulations in relation to OSHA standards and maintain and follow GMP, HACCP, SFQ, OSHA, and OLM Food Solutions standards to include safe work practices.
