Press Brake Operator – Day Shift | Monday–Thursday | $19–$25/hr DOE
Looking for a hands‑on manufacturing role with a 4-day workweek? We’re hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our production team!
In this role, you’ll set up, program, operate, and maintain hydraulic CNC‑controlled press brake equipment used to bend and form sheet metal to exact specifications. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, understands metal forming and fabrication, and can keep production moving in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule & PayDay Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM 4-Day Workweek Pay: $19.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
What You’ll Do- Set up and operate hydraulic press brake and punch equipment for established production work.
- Perform complex press brake programming using available machine features.
- Program CNC controls to produce new parts according to drawings and specifications.
- Select the correct tooling for each job using setup documentation.
- Load, install, and properly set up required tooling.
- Produce parts according to established quality and production‑time standards.
- Inspect work and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Enter production time and completed work into an online data collection system.
- Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and completed parts.
- Troubleshoot routine manufacturing issues and determine when additional assistance is needed.
- Identify, report, and document material, production, and quality concerns.
- Maintain equipment performance logs and report deficiencies to the maintenance team.
- Participate in operator‑level preventative maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Experience:
Ability to set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC press brake equipment. - Blueprint Reading:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, dimensions, and tolerances. - CNC Knowledge:
Experience loading and editing CNC programs; basic understanding of G‑code and M‑code preferred. - Precision Measurement:
Proficient with calipers, micrometers, gauges, protractors, and other measuring tools. - Metal Fabrication Knowledge:
Understanding of metal‑forming processes, materials, hydraulic presses, and basic fabrication. - Quality & Safety Focus:
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate work and following manufacturing safety practices. - Problem‑Solving:
Ability to identify and resolve minor equipment or production issues. - Teamwork:
Dependable, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively in a fast‑paced team environment. - Physical Ability:
Able to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.; heavier lifting may occasionally be required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2–3 years of manufacturing or press brake experience preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience with CNC equipment, automated machinery, metal forming, or fabrication is a plus.
