As a Machine Operator, you will help transform large rolls of thin metal into high-quality siding and roofing materials for a variety of building applications. You will work on a production line, support machine operation, and ensure that all products meet strict quality standards, while contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

• Clean the work area daily, including sweeping floors, emptying trash, and stacking pallets to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
• Perform all required quality checks on produced items to ensure they meet established standards.
• Double count all pieces before wrapping to confirm accurate quantities for each order.
• Double check the color and profile of all pieces before wrapping to ensure correct specifications for each customer.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with this capability verified through references.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a production and manufacturing environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

• Experience in production, general labor, or manufacturing operations is helpful but not required.
• Backgrounds in fast food, construction, warehouse, forklift operation, or machine shop work can translate well to this role.
• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment and meet daily production goals.
• Ability to work effectively with a partner when lifting and feeding material into machines.

This is a full-time 1st shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role is based in a manufacturing and production facility where large rolls of thin metal are formed into siding and roofing materials. You will work around machinery, sheet metal, and stock racks in a setting that prioritizes safety, including daily safety meetings and a long record of days without injury.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $45760.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
