Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner position located in Sioux Falls, SD. The Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and manage complex wounds for patients in their homes or long-term care facilities. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare teams, educating patients and caregivers, and monitoring patient progress to promote effective healing. This role involves direct patient care, contributing to optimal outcomes with a focus on compassionate service.
Qualifications- Proficient in advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic and complex wounds
- Experienced in wound care management, including debridement, wound dressing, and infection control
- Strong communication and patient education skills to build trust and provide effective guidance
- Collaborative ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in South Dakota and relevant certifications in wound care (e.g., WCC, CWCN, or other equivalent certifications) are preferred
- Proven ability to develop individualized treatment plans to meet diverse patient needs
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements
