Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position in Sioux Falls, SD, requiring a BSN and at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities- Post-acute care setting in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF)
- Current census of 42 beds with a patient population of elderly residents with multiple diagnoses
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM), full-time
- Patient ratios vary; days typically run 1:21, with a maximum of 1:42
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Point Click Care (PCC) EMR system in use
- Both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts are utilized at this facility
- Orientation consists of 1 day of facility orientation followed by up to 3 days of supervised floor training with staff
- Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are subject to local pay rates
- No on-call or call-back shifts are available for this position
- 12-week contract
- Active RN license — South Dakota (SD) or Compact state license required
- BSN required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) preferred
