Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50 (actual pay rate depends on experience)
Position Highlights:
Rotating shifts; 7am-7pm; 7pm-7am -- 72hrs/2wks. May be eligible for a sign‑on bonus up to $20,000.
Delivers nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends; understanding patient conditions, medications, and self‑care skills; noting changing conditions and needs; re‑evaluating care objectives.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions, communicating the nursing care plan and all pertinent information to other health‑care team members, coordinating with other providers, and conferring with physicians.
- Develop nursing care plans through medical histories, patient examinations, documentation of physical condition, psychological status, and social factors, and collaboration with family and friends.
- Teach healthcare requirements by establishing patient care goals and instructing patient, family, and friends to understand condition, medications, and self‑care skills, answering questions, and providing resources.
- Evaluate patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, reviewing records, noting changing conditions and needs, re‑evaluating care objectives, and modifying the nursing care plan.
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment by following infection‑control policies, medication administration and storage procedures, controlled substance regulations, and organization standards and legal regulations.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Maintain patient care equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Maintain patient supplies by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and stocking items.
- Maintain competence in nursing capabilities outlined by leadership.
- Must be able to work the specified hours.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions satisfactorily including visual acuity, communication, and ability to hear and understand speech.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state board of nursing license.
- Preferred: 1‑3 years of experience in a clinical environment.
