Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Restorative Nursing Assistant opportunity. 40 hours per week – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with every other weekend rotation. Assists residents with mobility, strength and independence, using mobility aids, therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, and fall prevention techniques. Documents resident progress, participates in care planning, and follows infection prevention and control policies.

• Provide resident‑centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Conduct mobility, balance, and strengthening exercises incorporated into therapeutic activities.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, toileting, exercise, and eating/swallowing programs.
• Apply ice, paraffin baths, heat packets, and other state‑specific modalities.
• Use EMR accurately and manage linens, clothing, and supplies per regulations.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition promptly.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and standard precautions.

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Completion of a CNA training program with at least 40 hours of restorative care training.
• Yearly departmental competency testing and continuing education record.
• May be required to hold a valid driver’s license and meet Sanford Category II Driver criteria.
