Are you a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and working as part of a supportive healthcare team?

The Wellness Collective is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our functional medicine and psychiatric providers in delivering personalized, whole-person care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who wants to step away from a high-volume healthcare environment and work in a calm, collaborative outpatient clinic where quality patient care comes first.

You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients, work closely with experienced providers, and develop your knowledge of functional medicine and integrative healthcare
.

• $23–$25 per hour
  , based on experience
• Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week
• Typically 3 days per week
• Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• No evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Occasional flexibility to cover team absences

As a Part-Time LPN, you’ll support our providers and patients throughout the outpatient care process, including:

• Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining vital signs and reviewing medications, supplements, allergies, and preferred pharmacy information
• Work closely with functional medicine and psychiatric nurse practitioners to provide coordinated, patient-centered care
• Communicate with patients by phone and secure messaging to support provider treatment plans and answer appropriate clinical questions
• Complete medication prior authorizations
• Coordinate prescriptions with pharmacies
• Communicate with laboratories and other healthcare providers as needed
• Perform phlebotomy as needed
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Help create a welcoming, organized, and compassionate patient experience
• Support the clinical team with other nursing duties as needed

We're looking for an LPN who is compassionate, dependable, organized, and comfortable building relationships with patients.

Required:

• Active South Dakota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR)

Preferred:

• Experience in outpatient care, primary care, behavioral health, or functional medicine
• Phlebotomy experience
• Experience communicating with pharmacies, laboratories, or other healthcare providers

Functional medicine experience is welcome but not required. We’re happy to train the right LPN who is interested in personalized and integrative healthcare.
