American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring cardiac step-down experience and the ability to manage vasoactive drips.

• Work in the Medical Surgical Unit of a hospital environment specializing in cardiac care
• Rotating shift schedule alternating between day ) and night ) shifts within a 6-week block
• Straight night shifts may be considered for interested candidates
• No straight day shift positions available
• 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Required to work every other weekend and holiday
• Straight weekend schedules welcomed for interested candidates
• On-call is voluntary

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Cardiac step-down experience required
• Experience running vasoactive drips including nitro, levophed, neosynephrine, antiarrhythmics, and cleviprex
• Experience with BiPAP, chest tube management, and telemetry monitoring

• Provide cardiac step-down nursing care within a progressive care setting
• No previous permanent employment with Avera or Sanford health systems allowed
• Blocked scheduling and specific scheduling requests are not permitted
