American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit position requiring Cardiac Step Down experience and vasoactive drip management skills.

• Work in the Medical Surgical/Cardiac Step Down Unit
• 12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation  or ) within a 6-week block
• Straight night shifts may be considered for interested candidates
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday shift required, with straight weekend schedules welcomed
• On-call is voluntary

• Active RN license (SD or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Cardiac Step Down experience required
• Ability to run vasoactive drips including nitro, levo, neo, and anti-arrhythmic medications, as well as cleviprex
• Experience with BiPAP, chest tube management, and telemetry monitoring required
• No previous permanent employment with Avera or Sanford health systems allowed

• Provide cardiac step-down level nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and vasoactive medication management
• Blocked scheduling and specific scheduling requests are not accommodated
