American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a Level 1 Trauma unit requiring rotating day/night shifts and telemetry experience.

• Acute care setting on a Trauma/Med Surg telemetry unit within a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday
• Typical patient ratios of 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights
• May float to similar Med Surg and Telemetry units within the facility
• Uses EPIC EMR

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required

• Provide individualized nursing care using the full nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate and manage care for patients with complex needs while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Deliver patient and family education and communicate effectively across care teams
• Promote a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must badge in and out at the facility for each shift
• Candidates with previous employment at any Sanford Health location must disclose this for review
