Travel RN - Med​/Surg Float Pool

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool (Central Resource Pool) position requiring telemetry experience and a SD or compact RN license.

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Telemetry unit experience required
• BSN not required

• Acute care setting within the Central Resource Pool covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Day/Night rotating 12-hour shifts
• Requires working every other weekend and every other holiday
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• 36 hours per week
• Provides individualized nursing care using the full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborates with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate patient care
• Cares for patients across all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Responsible for care coordination, patient assessment, education, and triage
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates who previously worked for the health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
• Local candidates within 80 miles may be considered at an adjusted pay rate
