Overview

The Compliance Quality Specialist provides analytical insight to apply regulatory standards, engages stakeholders, and evaluates processes to drive compliance quality at PREMIER Bankcard. The role bridges operational teams and compliance leadership, ensuring quality initiatives align strategically and are effectively communicated.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor regulatory developments and internal policy changes and assess their impact on quality assurance practices.
  • Provide guidance, support documentation efforts, and contribute to compliance strategy development.
  • Approve regulatory-sensitive materials before final review by Compliance.
  • Develop internal communications that clarify regulatory and registration requirements for operational teams.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement meetings, prepare materials, and ensure clear communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify stakeholder needs, respond professionally to feedback, and support collaborative engagement activities.
  • Prepare clear reports, policies, and presentations that support operational and compliance initiatives.
  • Translate complex regulatory and quality concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with supervisor to set performance goals and participate in structured development activities.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of regulatory standards, technology tools, and industry trends.
  • Conduct end-to-end reviews of operational areas within the quality management system.
  • Evaluate existing policies, identify improvement opportunities, and document updated processes.
  • Execute quality assurance tests across varied operational areas and recommend corrective actions.
  • Use analytical thinking to uncover root causes and recommend targeted enhancements.
  • Collaborate across departments to implement service delivery improvements aligned with regulatory expectations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, internal audit, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of BSA/AML, CAN SPAM, Patriot Act, Fair Lending, and related regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Verint, Genesys, and Pega preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal guidance and to provide technical guidance.
