Job SummaryRoy'zzz Premium Cannabis is seeking a dependable, guest-focused Assistant Store Manager to support daily dispensary operations, team leadership, compliance, inventory accuracy, cash handling, and overall store readiness.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can lead from the floor, support the Store Manager, coach team members in real time, and help create a welcoming, compliant, and professional retail experience for every guest.

Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager with daily dispensary operations, shift execution, and store readiness.
- Lead by example on the sales floor, at check‑in, at the register, and during guest interactions.
- Help execute company SOPs, daily checklists, opening/closing duties, and operational routines.
- Coach team members on guest service, product knowledge, compliant recommendations, and professional communication.
- Assist with guest concerns, product questions, service recovery, and escalations.
- Help ensure s, purchase limits, product handling, medical card requirements, and sales procedures are followed correctly.
- Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate records, logs, documentation, and store organization.
- Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, employee communication, and day‑to‑day team development.
- Support inventory receiving, organization, cycle counts, reconciliation, product movement, and shrink prevention.
- Assist with cash handling, drawer counts, deposits, POS accuracy, discounts, returns, voids, and loss prevention procedures.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, secure, organized, and guest‑ready store environment.
- Communicate store‑level concerns, compliance issues, inventory concerns, maintenance needs, and team updates to the Store Manager promptly.

- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any state‑required cannabis worker badge, registration, or license where applicable.
- 1‑3 years of retail leadership, supervisory, or assistant management experience preferred.
- Cannabis, pharmacy, alcohol, banking, hospitality, or other regulated‑industry experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, coaching, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- High attention to detail and a compliance‑first mindset.
- Comfortable using POS systems, inventory tools, scheduling tools, and basic reporting systems.
- Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and calmly.
- Ability to work independently while still following company direction.
- Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and changing retail schedules.
- Full‑time, in‑person retail leadership role.
- Schedule may include mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
- Work takes place in a fast‑paced, highly regulated cannabis retail environment.
- This role may support different store workflows depending on location, including sales floor, check‑in, register, inventory, secure storage, fulfillment, deli‑style, and pre‑pack operations.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Ability to operate standard retail equipment, POS systems, and inventory tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, vendors, inspectors, and leadership in both verbal and written formats.
