Retail Backroom Coordinator

Home Goods, a leader in the manufacturing retail space, is seeking a Retail Backroom Coordinator to support efficient store operations. In this role, you will manage the flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, ensuring accurate inventory, organized storage, and timely stock replenishment. You'll operate inventory systems, perform stock checks, and collaborate closely with store teams. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain backroom inventory and storage areas
• Receive, verify, and tag incoming merchandise
• Coordinate product flow from backroom to sales floor
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and handling procedures
• Use inventory systems and scanners to track merchandise
• Collaborate with sales floor teams on stock needs and priorities
• Train and support new backroom staff on procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and efficiency of backroom operations
• Assist with shipment scheduling and logistics coordination
