Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and growing business Interstate Truck Center in Madison Wisconsin is seeking an Outside Parts Sales Representative to drive heavy duty truck parts sales develop new customer relationships and provide exceptional service to our valued customers throughout the territory This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently thrives on achieving sales goals and has experience in the heavy duty truck equipment automotive or industrial parts industry Company vehicle laptop and cell phone is provided

As an Outside Parts Sales Representative you will be responsible for growing parts sales and expanding market share within your assigned territory by developing strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities

• Grow heavy duty truck parts sales within an established territory
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Conduct regular face to face customer visits and follow up communications
• Assist customers with parts solutions and technical product support
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Promote Interstates value added products and service offerings
• Maintain accurate sales records and customer account information

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of outside sales experience
• Experience selling commercial truck heavy equipment automotive industrial or aftermarket parts preferred
• Strong relationship building and customer service skills
• Self motivated with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel throughout the territory including occasional overnight travel

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Additional sales business or technical training is a plus
