As a Screener at an innovative technology location, you will monitor entry points, perform screening procedures, and support access management while providing outstanding customer service and communication. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.

+ Screen people, packages, bags, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders, client-directed protocols, and Allied Universal standards.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or screening exceptions to site leadership in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, document observed details, and communicate with supervisors, employees, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around designated screening areas, entrances, and the perimeter, while helping to deter unauthorized access and support daily site operations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
