Security​/Loss Prevention Officer

Overview

The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses, including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services, and background checks.

• Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV cameras
• Report writing
• Interacting with local law enforcement as needed
• Provide courtroom testimony as required

• Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3–4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated
• Previous loss prevention or law enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirement
• Criminal justice or related studies a plus; high school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
