Security​/Loss Prevention Officer

Immediate Opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer in Sioux Falls, SD

Full‑time, 40 hours per week.

• Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and use of Closed Circuit Television.
• Write incident reports.
• Interact with local law‑enforcement agencies as needed.
• Provide courtroom testimony when required.

• Pre‑employment criminal background and drug screen.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3–4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.
• Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports.
• Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
• Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism not tolerated.
• Previous loss‑prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement.
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• Criminal justice or related studies a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

$20.00 per hour. Insurance. 401(k). PTO. Paid training will be provided.
