Pay Rate: $20.14 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel and authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with established access‑control procedures and client requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of bags, packages, and other permitted property while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited‑item findings, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter; document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
