Your Home Improvement Company is becoming the largest home improvement company in the US. We were founded in 2004 in St Cloud, MN by Steve Little. We are currently looking for a Subcontractor (1099) Subcontractor
Responsibilities- Comply with YHIC engineering specifications as well as regulatory code requirements, safety procedures & techniques
- Review contract folder and all instructions/drawings before leaving on assignments to clarify work to be completed
- Responsible for the installation of the windows, doors, exterior/interior trim and apply clean caulking line; ensure a YHIC quality job is completed in a safe and timely manner
- Interact with YHIC customers in a professional manner, while maintaining the integrity of YHIC reputation
- Ensure vehicle being driving is fully equipped with all necessary parts, products, tools, and resources necessary to complete assigned projects
- Bending aluminum/use of a brake
- Assist with the unloading of delivery trucks
- Large amounts of heavy lifting and the ability to unload vendor trucks
- Basic construction skills required
- Ability to use a tape measure, understand a level, and able to use basic power tools
- Must have window installation experience
- Must have experience using a metal brake
- General liability insurance
- Workmen's Comp
- Your own truck, tools, and a large trailer to transport materials from the warehouse to the jobsite and haul away debris
- Contractor's License
- Lead Certification
