- Support and manage daily job site operations in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and surrounding areas
- Perform underground utility and pipe installation, including water, sewer, and storm systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, utility layouts, and grade stakes
- Strip sites, excavating trenches, dig footings, backfill, grade, and place topsoil
- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, motor graders, wheel loaders, skid loaders, side dumps, and/or dump trucks
- Maintain production standards while protecting underground utilities and existing infrastructure
- Focus on job site safety, trench safety, and quality underground utility installation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, production, and workflow throughout the day

Job Requirements- 3 or more years of heavy equipment operator experience
- Leadership experience and a Crew leader or foreman
- Proven experience with underground utilities and pipe work, including water, sewer, and storm systems, is helpful
- Hands‑on experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and skid steers
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, utility plans, and grading plans
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Great communication skills
- CDL is helpful but not required
- Commitment to safety, production excavation, underground utility quality, and teamwork
