A1 Pumping & Excavating is seeking a dependable Heavy Equipment Operator with a CDL to support excavation, site preparation, hauling, and septic installation projects throughout the Sioux Falls area.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, enjoys working outdoors, and wants a stable position with a locally owned company where individual contributions are valued.

• Operate excavators, skid loaders, backhoes, and other construction equipment
• Perform trenching, grading, digging, and site preparation activities
• Assist with residential and commercial septic system installations and repairs
• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and professionally

• Valid CDL
• Experience operating heavy construction or excavation equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Septic, excavation, sitework, or utility installation experience is a plus
