As a Security Systems Technician, you’ll install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of low‑voltage security systems, including:

• Security & Burglar Alarm Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Panic, Hold‑Up & Wandering Alarm Systems

• Installing, programming, testing, and servicing systems
• Troubleshooting wiring and system issues
• Reading diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Ensuring installations meet codes and standards
• Communicating with customers, contractors, and team members
• Participating in a rotating on‑call schedule
• Occasional overnight travel during weekday projects

• Strong Work Ethic & Self-Motivation
• Mechanical Aptitude & Problem‑Solving Skills
• Basic Wiring or Electronic Knowledge Preferred
• Ability To Learn New Technologies & Systems
• Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record
• Professional Communication Skills
• Ability To Work At Heights & In Confined Spaces
• Must Be Drug Free
• No Felonies or Serious Misdemeanors

• 1+ Year Field Experience
• NICET Certifications
• Minnesota PLT License
• Networking / IT Experience
• Experience With Low Voltage, Alarm, CCTV, Or Access Control Systems
