We are seeking a Building Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and minor construction tasks in commercial buildings. This role ensures that our clients' facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building systems, troubleshooting, and hands-on repairs, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
A typical work week is Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30 PM; actual working hours and days may vary due to project deadlines; may require weekend or evening work at times.
Starting at $25.00 per hour.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, and finishes)
Respond to work orders and service requests promptly and professionally
Complete minor repairs (e.g., door hardware adjustments, ceiling tile replacement, fixture maintenance, drywall patching, minor carpentry)
Coordinate with subcontractors or vendors for specialized tasks
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
Assist with warranty work and post-construction punch lists
Follow all company safety procedures; maintain a clean, organized work area
Communicate with clients and office staff about project status, timelines, and needed materials
Support seasonal maintenance programs and respond to emergency repair requests
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance or facilities support, preferably in construction or industrial settings
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Proficient with hand and power tools, diagnostic instruments, and safety equipment
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and manuals
- Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and site safety practices
- Effective problem-solving and attention to detail
- Able to work independently or as part of a team in a physically demanding environment
- Strong record-keeping and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites
- Forklift or heavy equipment operation certification
