Location:

Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $20-$22/hour

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 7 am- 5 pm

The Laborer safely removes existing furniture, loads it into trailers, and installs new furniture by unloading trucks and carrying items into the facility. This role is suitable for entry-level candidates who are comfortable with physical work and using basic tools.

Responsibilities:

• Remove existing furniture from the worksite and safely haul it out of the facility.
• Load old furniture into trailers in an organized and secure manner.
• Unload new furniture from trucks and transport it into the designated areas of the facility.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical skills to assist with furniture handling and installation tasks.
• Follow instructions, layouts, or simple blueprints as needed to ensure proper placement and setup of furniture.

Essential

Skills:

• Experience working with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and basic assembly tools.
• Experience working with power tools such as drills or impact drivers.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 64 pounds safely and repeatedly.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to understand how components fit and work together.
• Ability to read or follow simple blueprints or layout instructions.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• Comfort working in a project-based environment with changing tasks throughout the day.
• Willingness to learn installation techniques and improve tool-handling skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow direction from supervisors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
