Plumbing Technician

Responsibilities:

• Install new plumbing and drainage systems to ensure newly installed components properly function
• Understand and follow blueprints or building plans
• Diagnose and correct issues pertaining to all plumbing systems, including but not limited to locating leaks, tears, blockages, corrosion & weather damage
• Utilize problem solving and decision-making skills and suggest services to clients
• Performing maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent emergencies
• Responding to plumbing emergencies, determining the issue and making repairs
• Maintain a professional courteous manner with all clients, contractors, and fellow employees
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge and understanding of pipes, fittings, and all manner of plumbing fixtures
• Attended technical or trade school for plumbing certification
• Current Journeyman State and City license required
• Minimum of 4 years' plumbing experience (new construction preferred)
• Candidate must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation a must
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and work with a team
• Follow current rules and regulations related to plumbing to ensure that systems pass inspection and comply with all company, local, City, State, and Federal guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits:
