Restoration Technician

Restoration Technician - Sioux Falls, SD

INTEK is seeking a skilled and adaptable Restoration Technician to join our Sioux Falls team. We're looking for detail‑oriented professionals who can effectively operate mitigation equipment to address and restore water damage. Essential Functions:

● Respond to water‑loss calls promptly, including participation in the on‑call evening and weekend rotation.

● Identify and document affected areas to determine the scope of water intrusion

● Extract water from impacted spaces using appropriate tools and techniques

● Set up mitigation equipment correctly to address moisture issues and prevent additional damage

● Evaluate and record moisture readings to ensure progress toward acceptable drying levels

● Perform job‑site setup and cleanup to maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

● Complete assigned demolition tasks and other construction‑related duties as part of the mitigation process

Experience and

Education:

● High School Graduate or GED Required

● Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record Required

● Ability to pass a background check Required

Physical Demands

● Ability to occasionally bend, climb or balance, kneel, stoop, walk, or push and pull objects

● Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and occasionally 100lbs, to perform job functions

● Ability to work in a variety of environments, conditions, and temperatures including both in the office and in the field
