Location:

Job Type: Full-Time, 7 am- 5 pm

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, steel framing, and other materials. The ideal candidate has strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
• Install framing, drywall, cabinetry, windows, doors, flooring, and trim.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Repair and renovate existing structures and fixtures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, project requirements, and building codes.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar construction role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and construction techniques.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Trade school certification or apprenticeship completion.
• Experience with residential and commercial construction projects.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Knowledge of additional trades such as drywall, painting, or concrete work.

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull construction materials and equipment.
• Work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces.
• Perform duties in indoor and outdoor environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
