HVAC Technician - Installer

Become a full-time HVAC Technician
- Installer with Roger's Plumbing and Heating to complete rewarding hands-on work, solve interesting problems, and take pride in making a real difference for homeowners throughout Sioux Falls, SD! We're hiring two hard-working technicians to join us from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday (with an on-call schedule and overtime available). • Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and work in areas such as attics, rooftops, and confined spaces
• Ability to safely and accurately use power tools and diagnostic tools
• Ability to stay up-to-date with new HVAC technology, regulations, and industry changes
• Ability to complete accurate documentation, maintain your tools, and keep your service vehicle in good condition
• Diagnostic skills and a customer service mindset

Our HVAC Technicians
- Installers are on the front lines of the business, visiting customers' homes to repair their existing systems, install new equipment, and get everything in peak operating order. Your problem-solving skills will shine as you diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system-related issues as well as replace broken/old parts and locate/fix refrigerant leaks. You'll also install new furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning units, ductwork, and other equipment while following blueprints, diagrams, building codes, and manufacturer specifications.

As you work, you'll document the services you perform and parts you use.

You'll provide professional customer service to homeowners, educating them on their equipment, explaining repair needs, providing cost estimates, and promoting the benefits of services. Some projects may require coordinating with supervisors, contractors, and construction teams.
