Day Shift (United States of America) | Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.50 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience)

Responsible to provide safe supervision during child-parent visitations and facilitate the safe exchange of children from one parent to the other. This position is also responsible for the safe transport of children as needed to and from supervised visitation appointments.

• Observe and document interactions between participating adults and children.
• Conduct interventions during visitation per the program guidelines to provide for the safety of all program participants.
• Complete forms and documentation including Observation/Connection forms, cancellation of visits/connections, contact logs, incident reports, etc.
• Assure the safety of clients and staff by enforcing Agency policies.
• Be accountable for review of client related documentation and distribution of documentation to applicable referral sources and/or others involved with the case.
• Assist with agency record keeping.
• Transport children in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure proper use and adherence to child safety restraint devices and laws.
• Communicate with clients, children, and community professionals in a customer friendly manner.
• Assist in the general operations of development, billing, and scheduling when needed.

• The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
• Must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily, including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively.

• High School or GED Equivalent.
• South Dakota Central Registry of Child Abuse and Neglect background checks and maintain a record with no court findings, convictions, or substantiated reports of child abuse and/or neglect.

• Bachelor's in a related field.
