Youth Group Coordinator, Arise Youth Center

Position:
Part Time Service Workers, Sioux Falls, SD, US

HOURS: Part‑time, Evening hours

SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure high‑quality customer service that is responsive to client needs.
  • Schedule new client intake inquiries for group services for Evening Report Center.
  • Complete intake paperwork with youth and parent/guardian.
  • Input all necessary information into EHR system.
  • Communicate with county partners, court officials, and law enforcement as needed.
  • Collect, analyze and input data on referral sources for incoming clients, client success and to assist in contract and grant completion.
  • Complete group development and implementation.
  • Complete weekly court updates to necessary stakeholders.
  • Complete referrals for youth and their families for ongoing services as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, plus one year experience working in human service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bi‑lingual skills may be desirable.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to complete orientation training according to agency program standards.
  • Must successfully complete all agency background checks, which include checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, and drug or sex crimes.
  • Requires active auto‑insurance, a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
