SONIFI is seeking a Software Engineer to join our hospitality engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and enhance software applications that directly impact millions of hotel guests nationwide. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, performant solutions while continuously growing your technical skill set. This is a hybrid position and requires residence in the Sioux Falls, SD area.

Our hospitality technologies power in‑room entertainment, interactive platforms, and integrations that shape the guest experience. As a Software Engineer, your work will directly influence the reliability, usability, and innovation of SONIFI’s products in one of the fastest‑evolving industries. You’ll help deliver the software foundation that hotels rely on every day.

• Design, develop, test, and debug software applications that enhance and modernize the guest experience.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across engineering, product, and QA to deliver high‑quality features.
• Continuously expand your technical skills, staying current with modern software engineering practices and technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges with creativity and sound engineering judgment.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and process improvements to strengthen engineering excellence.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering and 2+ years of industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern Software Engineering methodologies.
• Solid professional experience with C#, API development, and SQL.
• Preferred experience with JavaScript, HTML, and modern web‑based technologies.
• Preferred experience with scripting languages such as Python.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving and deductive reasoning abilities.

SONIFI pays a competitive salary for this role based on factors including experience, education, specialty, and training. This position is also eligible for PTO, holidays, health, dental, vision, retirement plans, pet insurance, on‑demand pay, and additional benefits. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on a variety of job‑related factors.
