Position Overview
The student will be collecting and organizing image responses from various generative AI models, making proper edits as needed, and performing human-versus-AI analyses. If there's time, the student will also analyze the image responses of different generative AI models on any differences, and explore custom image-generating AI tools.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Collect, organize, and edit the images.
- Investigate an open-source image-comparison software in R, process all images through the software, and collect and organize the resulting data.
- Perform pairwise and/or cluster-based analyses on the images.
- Student is expected to meet with me once a week in-person and once a week over Google Meets.
- Student will mainly work from their personal laptop.
- Inside setting: sitting or standing for a long time, dust and other allergens, artificial light
- Must have taken COSC 1210, COSC 1220, and COSC 1300.
- COSC 2310 is recommended but not required.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
