Job Summary & Responsibilities- Design, develop, modify, document, and deliver high‑quality programming that meets specific business needs.
- Work with other developers on projects that may involve multiple system interactions and team collaboration to accomplish desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand technology required for business process efficiencies.
- Evaluate, analyze, and prioritize requirements; contribute to designing solution options.
- Design and deliver quality software application solutions on time.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert for specific application(s).
- Develop and write code independently while providing guidance to senior developers.
- Perform unit tests to validate code functionality.
- Prepare necessary project documentation and deliver it to the project manager and department manager.
- Provide development effort estimates for new projects to business analysts.
- Coach and advise junior developers on documentation, coding standards, and business processes.
- Define and implement the user experience for new and existing applications.
- Take a lead role for more experienced developers and advocate for user‑centric design.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience with relational database concepts, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and Windows operating systems.
- Experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs.
- Experience with MVC, Blazor, .NET Core, Web APIs, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience with MS SQL Server is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High level of personal integrity.
- Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to suggest solutions.

This position operates in an office environment, working at a personal computer that can be used while sitting or standing. Most of our Sioux Falls office workspace consists of an open‑concept design intended to promote communication and collaboration.
