Hazmat Truck Driver at CHS Inc. Sioux Falls, SD

Summary

CHS is looking for a Hazmat Driver to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. The driver will haul fuel to customers in the area. The schedule is Sunday–Thursday, and the driver will be home each night for supper. This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign‑on bonus ($1,500 after 30 days and $1,500 after 1 year).

• Ensure accurate and on‑time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including pre‑trip, post‑trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours of service.
• Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
• Work extended hours in season to meet business demands.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations; identify and communicate workplace hazards and seek assistance or correct unsafe actions or conditions.
• Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.

• Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• 2+ years of CDL experience.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals.

• Tanker and Air Brake endorsements.
• Must meet DOT and company requirements.
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands.
• Bulk liquid experience preferred.
• Pre‑employment screening may be required; selected candidates must pass drug, criminal, motor‑vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse screening.

• Ability to lift/carry up to 80 lbs, walk, stand, sit, bend, and kneel.
