Role Overview
This position is responsible for building and repairing railroad track and other railroad related tasks. Employee will operate straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor type vehicle equipped with front mounted hydraulically powered bucket, forklift, medium duty type section truck, back hoe, skid loader, wheel loader, on and off-track excavator, double axel roto on track dump truck, ballast regulator (set up for snow removal) tie crane, ballast regulator track tamper tie inserter spiker and spike puller.
Typical schedule during production season is Monday
- Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM with one Saturday per month. Typical schedule during maintenance season is Monday
- Friday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Hours may vary depending on weather and customer demand.
