The classification of Supervisor Ramp & Passenger Services includes managing, coordinating and controlling airport activities for both Ramp Services and Passenger Service functions (as described below); monitors the quantity and quality of work performance; directing personnel within assigned functional area; overseeing and advising on staffing requirements; participating in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates, ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations, Company standards and contractual agreements;

ensures budgetary controls and manning requirements .This position may include responsibility for communication between Airport Board officials and individual customers with the Company. The scope of the job may vary with the size of the operation and its primary line of business.

• Perform all aspects of airport operations, including ticketing transactions, baggage check-in, issuing boarding passes & dispatching flights in a safe & timely manner.
• May also be responsible for baggage service functions of filing loss, damage & pilferage claims.
• Offers efficient & professional customer service & resolves passenger problems as required.
• Coordinates with all departments to ensure operational needs are met, including catering, fueling & maintenance companies.
• Acts as company representative when assigned.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Reports to work on a regular & timely basis.
• Ability to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions & procedure manuals.
• Ability to compute rate, percent & interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts & draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form & deal with several abstract & concrete variables.
• Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality & employee relations meet or exceed standards.
• Maintain & control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program & TSA legislation.
• Ensure that the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity & compliance at all times.
• Read, understand & clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan & ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company  & that they are required to display this identity badge.
• Ability to administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors & other third parties are treated with respect.
• Associate's degree (A.
  
  A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employement.
• Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.
