Route Sales

Position Summary:

To maximize customer service and efficiently transport and deliver product.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Be consistent with delivery day and time Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources and verify instructions and route

Deliver product and pick up all empties and damaged product

Accurately maintain cash collected, truck inventory, invoices, forms and related paperwork

Responsible for first-line maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicle

Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

Education/

Experience:

High-School Diploma/GEDNo experience necessary – on the job training is performed

Valid driver’s license

Good driving record

Valid Class B CDL w/airbrake endorsement

Must be able to meet all DOT physical requirements

Communication Skills Dexterity Skills Problem Solving Skills Analytical Skills Interpersonal Skills Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisor.

Work Environment:
Depends upon the customer the employee is serving.

May have to climb stairs and work in back rooms. Employee is subject to outside elements and may have to work in heat, cold, rain and snow.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear Frequently lift/carry objects up to 75lbs; occasionally push/pull objects up to 150 lbs.

Frequently required to stand, walk, squat, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus

Work Schedule:

Monday thru Friday; 6am until route completion
