Looking for a part-time job that keeps you moving, gives you independence, and leaves your evenings and weekends free?
Weisser Distributing is looking for a dependable Part-Time Delivery Driver to help deliver products to customers throughout the Sioux Falls area and surrounding region. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and interacting with customers.
You'll be responsible for making safe, accurate, and timely deliveries while providing friendly, professional service to our customers.
What You'll Do- Safely deliver products to customer locations on assigned routes
- Load and unload products efficiently and accurately
- Verify deliveries and collect required signatures or documentation
- Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers
- Follow company driving, safety, and delivery procedures
- Keep delivery vehicles and work areas organized
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed when not on the road
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance
- Comfortable working independently and managing a delivery route
- Friendly and professional when interacting with customers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Willingness to jump in and help the team when needed
- Previous delivery or driving experience is helpful, but not required
This is an active position that requires the ability to:
- Regularly lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Load, unload, carry, push, and pull products throughout the shift
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb in and out of a delivery vehicle
- Work outdoors and make deliveries in varying weather conditions
