Inventory Control Clerk

General Summary

Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the warehouse inventory. Checks all orders leaving the warehouse to ensure accuracy. Runs warehouse audits to ensure actual product amount matches documented records.

• Visually verifies all requisition orders by comparing descriptions and quantities of items on the cart to those printed on the requisition.
• Assists the Inventory Control Supervisor with processing all necessary paperwork to issue items from the Warehouse to venues.
• Conducts physical inventories of warehouse items, including preparing tally sheets with storage and bin locations, and updating item information in Stratton Warren.
• Updates completed daily inventory requisition.
• Files inventory documentation accurately.
• Processes food and beverage invoices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior inventory control and warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must possess effective organizational and analytical skills
• Efficient using computers, including but not limited to Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have the flexibility to work all shifts
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Stratton Warren knowledge preferred

• Ability to sit at a desk performing computer work for long periods of time (over 50% of the time)
• Able to move throughout the warehouse in a timely manner
• Able to lift, carry, push/pull and/or move objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
• Vision and literacy (critical)
• Hearing and speech (moderate)
• Able to work in an environment that may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures
