Preform Solutions, Inc. is a well-established manufacturer of custom plastics serving the packaging industry for over 25 years in Sioux Falls. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and are looking for a long-term career with a company that values dedication and teamwork.
As part of our Shipping and Receiving team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of products within our facility and to our offsite warehouse.
- Collaborate with the Shipping Lead to prioritize and coordinate truck loading schedules
- Verify products and quantities against purchase orders before loading
- Scan boxes in and out of inventory using company-provided mobile technology for accurate tracking
- Complete all required shipping and receiving paperwork accurately
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Transport boxes and materials between the main facility and offsite warehouse as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in warehousing, production, material handling, or shipping/receiving preferred
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required
- Ability to climb on and off forklift steps frequently throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Comfortable using mobile phone technology for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to good attendance
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
$23.00 per hour starting rate. Overtime may be available depending on workload.
ScheduleMonday-Friday 10:30am-7pm with possibility of overtime depending on workload
