Receiving Lead

Diamond Mowers is looking for someone to join our team as the Receiving Lead. The Receiving Lead will report to the Parts Inventory Manager. We are looking for someone who can manage inventory accuracy, receiving processes and take ownership of the receiving area to achieve success.

Key Roles
  • Leads and coaches Receiving employees to ensure work is performed efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitors and enforces all Company safety regulations and policies.
  • Trains and leads Receiving employees to improve skills and performance.
  • Lead the receipt and unloading of various materials. Verify the accuracy of shipment against shipping documents as freight is unloaded; document and investigate discrepancies. Ensure information is recorded accurately in company systems to update inventory records.
  • Meet internal and external customer requirements by ensuring that daily deliveries are verified, material inventory records are up to date and information is communicated in a timely manner to ensure no loss of production due to materials not being received.
  • Set up and implement the company's ERP system in order to maintain accurate and timely inventory and ERP records to support materials replenishment activities,
  • Conduct cycle inventory counts monthly and annual inventory counts.
  • Maintains warehouse and storage areas by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and identifying and recommending warehouse system improvements.
  • Coordinates and moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from our warehouse.
Responsibilities
  • Continuously upgrade the team by recruiting, training, and coaching.
  • Achieve results through people and process.
  • Establish a sense of urgency throughout the department.
  • Oversight of all Diamond Mowers employees for compliance with PPE requirements.
  • Ensure that warehouse facilities are up to standards with respect to safety and quality.
  • Participate in safety walks as required and help build a safe culture.
  • Effectively allocate human capital to ensure the right part, is at the right place, at the right time
  • Provide leadership with daily reports of risks and remedies.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of lead and receiving experience preferred.
  • Warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Prefers to work in a fast- paced environment.
  • Detailed orientated
  • Will operate standup and sit-down fork trucks.
