The company is delivering complex field-based work where construction, maintenance, contractors, operations, drilling, and wells activity must be coordinated effectively. The Project Planner V[C] will operate in a setting that demands clear communication, practical planning input, and strong day-to-day execution support.
About the RoleThe Project Planner V[C] supports the execution of work by coordinating field activities, helping resolve conflicts between simultaneous tasks, and ensuring work packages progress smoothly from planning through closeout. The Project Planner V[C] also provides input that helps improve constructability, readiness, and execution efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate execution of large projects and Sim Ops to support safe and efficient use of shared field resources.
- Anticipate and resolve spatial, temporal, or resource conflicts between work groups.
- Support Long Range and Infrastructure Planners with constructability reviews, contracting input, and scope validation.
- Act as the on-site coordinator linking maintenance teams with resident and third‑party contractors.
- Oversee daily Sim Ops to avoid space, time, or resource conflicts between simultaneous activities.
- Coordinate logistics for in‑field activities, including East‑West flights and CD3 visits for O&M activities.
- Coordinate response and execution of emergent work, including pipeline leaks, drill site shutdowns, and other unplanned events.
- Track progress of construction work, including cost performance and scope changes, and update monthly plans and budgets.
- Maintain records of punch lists, commissioning activities, and project closeout deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact between field crews, supervisors, Anchorage‑based teams, and contractors during execution.
- Escalate resource and schedule conflicts, safety issues, or material delays promptly for resolution.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, maintenance planning, construction coordination, or project execution in oil & gas, mining, or other heavy industry.
- Working knowledge of SAP PM/MM modules (maintenance, materials, financials).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in Alaska or other remote, arctic, or offshore environments (preferred).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Ability to work a 2x2 rotational schedule on the North Slope.
