Construction Manager/ Foreman, Installation Technician
Description
The Support General Foreman reports directly to the Mechanical and Electrical Superintendents and will oversee and supervise indirect project support services, scaffold erection activities, architectural installation, insulation installation, and equipment operations. This position is responsible for planning, crew development, safety, material management and quality control as well as oversight of crews to ensure quality, efficiency, safety and compliance with federal, state, local, client and company safety regulations.

- Ensure crews are on site, prepared and equipped to perform their assignments
- Conducts and leads toolbox and safety meetings
- Conducts regular inspections of crews’ work to ensure consistency, efficiency, safety, and quality
- Liaise and interface to socialize plans with client representatives, company quality control and project management team in a professional manner
- Identifies material needs for upcoming scope and requests material issue ahead of need dates
- Ensures on hand material inventories are acceptable for permanent install scope, temporary construction work, and scaffold construction
- Assists foreman with training of new crew members
- Creates an efficient, safe, and quality work environment
- Ensures foreman and crews are following all client, company and OSHA safety standards
- Organizes and plans work weekly and daily to ensure crews are productive and safe
- Assists in manpower schedule development to ensure crew is adequately staffed
- Ensures work is performed to match Delta and client standards of quality and per specific design criteria outlined in project drawings and client specs.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or Equivalent
- Current and valid driver’s license and maintain clean driving record
- Knowledge of OSHA scaffolding regulations, scaffold erection experience and industry scaffold safe practices, preferred
- Seven (7) years' experience working as laborer, scaffolder, or insulator/sheet metal craft hand in an oil field industrial setting
- Four (4) years' supervisory experience
- North Slope Training Certification “NSTC” required
- Take and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Take and pass a Fit for Duty Examination.
- Must be proficient with hand and power tools as well as heavy equipment
- Knowledgeable and experienced in oilfield operations
- Knowledge and experience of industrial oil field construction
- Experience and knowledge of scaffolding, labor support, architectural, insulation and temporary construction in an industrial oil field setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication with positive interpersonal skills
- Skilled in scheduling crews and managing daily customer deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead others
- Ability to perform all tasks and responsibilities in a professional manner
- Ability to socialize plans with client representatives, company and client quality control and project management team in a professional manner
