Job Description
NANA Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable candidate to assist project managers to civil construction projects and remote gravel pit operations in remote Alaska. Tasks will include tracking crew time, managing multi-sector SWPPP’s, tracking project quantities, logistics, facilitating airport badging, requisitions, and solving any problem that is impeding smooth operation of the project. This role requires being comfortable working long hours in remote locations, in extreme weather conditions, and team-oriented job sites.
Responsibilities- Assist managers with requisitions Prepare, review, and process requisitions for materials, equipment, supplies, and subcontracted services. Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and accounting personnel to ensure purchases are accurately documented, approved, and aligned with project budgets and timelines.
- Assist managers with crew timecards Support field and project managers with the collection, review, and submission of employee timecards. Verify labor hours, job coding, and pay classifications for accuracy while ensuring compliance with company policies, payroll deadlines, and project reporting requirements.
- Assist managers tracking quantities on unit price jobs Maintain accurate records of production quantities and completed work on contracts. Compile and verify quantity tracking documentation, reconcile field reports, and assist in preparing progress billing and project performance reports.
- Assist managers tracking crew time and equipment on Time & Material (T&M) jobs Monitor and document labor hours, equipment usage, and associated project costs for T&M projects. Ensure supporting documentation is complete and accurate to facilitate customer billing, cost tracking, and project profitability analysis.
- Authorized Signer for DOT Airport Badges Serve as an authorized company representative for Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). airport security badge applications. Coordinate badge requests, verify employee eligibility, maintain required documentation, and ensure compliance with airport security regulations and access requirements.
- Company employee lodging assignments and schedules Coordinate and manage employee lodging accommodations for project assignments. Schedule room assignments, track occupancy, communicate lodging arrangements to employees and supervisors, and ensure efficient utilization of company-provided housing resources.
- Oversee third-party camp facility cleaning and scheduling Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure facilities are properly maintained, cleaned, and available to support workforce needs. Monitor occupancy schedules, address facility concerns, and serve as the primary liaison between the company and service providers.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum three (3) years technical administrative experience in the Construction, Maritime, or Oil & Gas industries.
- CESCL or ability to obtain a CESCL within first month of employment.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.
- Advanced skillset with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Candidates will be required to complete a skills evaluation exam.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew in remote locations.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability to changing site conditions.
- Remote or camp-based work experience preferred.
