Overview
A facility in Alaska is seeking an anesthesiologist to provide ongoing inpatient coverage. The schedule includes weekday shifts from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with assigned after-hours call on both weekdays and weekends. The hospital has 25 inpatient beds and uses Epic for EMR.
Responsibilities- Provide anesthesia for general OR cases.
- Support OB department procedures.
- Support the ED as needed.
- Occasional procedures such as A-lines and central lines.
- Active Alaska medical license to expedite credentialing.
- Comfort managing variable patient volumes (5–15 contacts per day).
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (NRP & ATLS preferred).
