Electrical Technician - O&M North Slope Construction

Electrical Technician will support the Santos Commissioning Team. They will be responsible for the testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment on the Pikka Nanushuk Drillsite B (NDB) Phase 1 Well Tie-In (WTI) Campaign. They will ensure all electrical systems are properly installed, function correctly, and meet safety and quality standards.

• Providing technical field support to commissioning and startup activities as required.
• Compliance to project schedules, cost, quality, and safety targets.
• Drive improvement, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction in commissioning activities.
• Carry out pre-commissioning checks in electrical systems including Heat Tracing, in readiness for commissioning and handover to Operations.
• Accurately document commissioning results, tests, and inspections ensuring all records are up to date in the Completion Management System.
• Perform and monitor testing of electrical equipment to assure compliance with specifications and test procedures.
• Program Thermon EHT controllers.

• Formal technical education in Electrical and Instrumentation.
• Eligibility and authorization to work in the United States.
• 5+ years of combined experience in Construction / Commissioning for Industrial and Oil and Gas Facilities.
• Experience in the startup of Oil and Gas facilities.
• Experience programming Heat Tracing Controllers.
• Understanding of applicable codes and standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills required to interact at all levels of seniority.

• Experience working on the North Slope.
