Base Salary Information: Pay will be based on the location of the selected applicant and will be discussed at time of interview: Engineer/Architect 1 – $3,563.25 to $5,701.50 /bi-weekly (OT Ineligible) Engineer/Architect 2 – $3,810.75 to $6,097.50 / bi-weekly (OT Ineligible)

What you will be doing: Engineer/Architect 1: Under the general direction of the Design Manager or a registered professional engineer, perform as Civil Engineer lead for small-to-medium-sized capital improvement projects – including preliminary engineering & field reconnaissance thru final design & advertising. Work includes leading a multi-disciplinary team (internal staff and/or consultant) through the development process for road & airport projects.

Work also includes research, development, and final production of project deliverables (plans, specifications, estimates, and other engineering documents). This position is able to independently perform field reconnaissance work, as needed. The incumbent will work closely with & mentor Engineering Assistants.

Under the general direction of the Design Manager or a registered professional engineer, perform as Civil Engineer lead for medium-to-large-sized capital improvement projects & all relevant duties outlined in the E/A 1 position above.

The working environment you can expect: This position is located Statewide. Based on the location of the selected applicant, telework option is available. Frequent travel in small aircraft will be required for site reviews and inspections.…
